SUIR VISTA

is a new business established to publish non-fiction books in the categories of biography, true crime and travel. Our name is taken from the river Suir of which we have a panoramic view from our office window. The founder has already researched the first two works which are scheduled to be marketed in 2010 or early 2011. No submissions from authors are solicited at present.

It's the aim of Suir Vista to publish only books which have been properly researched and edited.

Catherine Hayes 1820 -1861 From a painting by A. Salome

The first book is a biography of the dramatic and extraordinary life of this 19c opera star. The author has spent many years doing the essential research and has found material lost for generations.

This ship was wrecked off the Welsh coast in 1859 with the loss of 400 passengers and crew. The cargo of gold bars was mainly recovered. Miss Hayes cancelled a performance when she heard the news.
